Students in this classroom work in all areas of the Montessori curriculum including Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, and Math. They learn care of self, care of the environment and how to care for others. They are expanding their vocabulary skills immensely and beginning to learn their sounds as they are in their sensitive period for language. They learn their colors and numbers and spend much of their time in exploration of the environment around them through the exploration of rich materials and exciting learning opportunities prepared by the Head of School.
